International fashion comes to Shah Alam

Setia City Mall announces that it has secured over 50,000 sq ft of international fashion brands including Zara, MNG, Guess, Esprit, La Senza, G2000, Rip Curl, Aldo, Timberland, Cache Cache and Cotton On. The new additions will help establish the mall as the destination of choice for shopping, entertainment and parklife.

With terms agreed for over 95% of the floor place, and the new mall on target to be 100% occupied when it opens in mid 2012, this diverse range of international fashion joins a strong line up of local fashion outlets including Nicchi, F.O.S and Padini as well as a Parkson department store, a 9 screen Golden Screen Cinemas, Fitness First, Courts, Harvey Norman, Wangsa Bowl and the maiden Urbanfresh supermarket.

The new Zara store will be located on the Upper Ground floor and will house over 16,000 square feet of the latest men’s and woman’s fashion trends. Zara is one of the world’s largest international fashion stores with over 1,500 outlets around the world. The new outlet at Setia City mall will be the brand’s 7th in Malaysia.

Commenting on the announcement, Robert Spinks, Development Director, Setia City Mall, said: “As we edge closer to opening, we’re very pleased at the confidence shown by the international fashion community. Offering these brands to our future customers will allow us to deliver on our promise to provide the Klang Valley with an exceptional shopping destination.”

A spokesperson for RSH Malaysia, who owns the Zara franchise in Malaysia, said: “The Zara brand is extremely popular with Malaysian shoppers and our expansion into Setia City Mall helps progress our regional growth strategy. Setia City Mall boasts an attractive design, excellent customer potential and a clear vision to deliver an exceptional retail asset. We are very pleased to be involved.”
